Plataformas digitales, la difusión del odio y la política: Un análisis crítico

Resumen

Introducción: Este estudio examina el vínculo entre el lenguaje y la violencia en el entorno digital, con especial atención a la comunicación política. El uso del lenguaje en línea puede contribuir a la polarización, a la difusión del odio y a la normalización de la violencia verbal a veces preludio de la violencia física. Objetivo: La investigación busca comprender cómo se emplea el lenguaje para extremar el debate público y qué estrategias lingüísticas favorecen la legitimación de la agresividad en los contextos digitales. Metodología: A través de un análisis cualitativo de los contenidos y una revisión crítica de la literatura, hemos tratado de analizar el estado del arte, centrándonos en el papel de las plataformas digitales en la difusión de discursos extremistas y el refuerzo de las tensiones sociales. Resultados: El análisis evidencia que las tecnologías digitales amplifican la influencia de los líderes políticos en la configuración del discurso público y en la difusión de retóricas polarizantes. Discusión: El uso estratégico del lenguaje en la red no solo influye en la percepción pública, sino que también puede favorecer la radicalización y la normalización del odio. Conclusiones: Comprender estos mecanismos es esencial para desarrollar estrategias de mitigación que promuevan un debate público más equilibrado y responsable.
